I think it's so awesome that you took the opposite route of most of us, and are aiming to make this look 3D/digital, instead of using an entirely digital process. I'm so excited to see this in the physical.
I'm mostly curious about the physicality of this project... How big are the three pieces/the piece in its entirety, and how will you show this piece? Does it stand on its own, hang? What kinds of materials will you be using to print? Have you done anything to alter the photo, change the colors, etc? Will the 3D effect become more pronounced if you do so? How may lighting effect the 3D aspects of this piece?...just some things to consider!

try printing onto transparency paper instead of cutting out!
