Narrative and Identity - Quinn
I think I understand the narrative part of this project but I am having a hard time with identity. I don't feel like I quite capture identity yet or really understand how to do so.
So I am sticking with the sci-fi fantasy genera and as you can see I'm using Star Wars.

i'm interested to see where you take this. it's funny that you say you're struggling with identity, and at the same time the faces and fine details of the subjects are abstracted. I think you can play alot with that, and with it as a paradox (identity focus, recognizable yet abstracted subjects).
ReplyDeletei think, though, that choosing something that you didn't actually create also says something about personal identity, and how you might describe yourself (through interests).
