OK well so I'm taking a more personal (maybe even cliche, oops) approach to this and thinking about identity in relationship to place and time, and how those things affect us... and in this case, me, since I have lived in over a dozen different houses, three cities, and two states. I'm focusing more on the ideas of transience and change, so I'm having alot of different images constantly morphing into something new. I'm doing frame by frame animation in photoshop, with drawings. I want to set it to music but I haven't found the perfect song yet. the inspiration for my scenes come from my own experiences as a kid.
I like this idea and I think it will be very interesting to watch each drawing transform into something completely different. I think everyone starts off as one thing and as we grow, we get new experiences and sometimes we turn into something completely different I would say think about the theme of the images. Will all of them be animals turning into humans or will some be humans turning into animals? Maybe it will be animals turning into inanimate objects or maybe the other way around. Also when thinking about the music, think about whether or not you want lyrics or have it be instrumental. That might help you find the perfect song.

may not be exactly what you're going for, but maybe it will give you some ideas
oh and also, maakestad's sculpture students do a clay project where they make 5 little pieces. the first is one object and the last is completely different, then the 3 in between show the transformation steps. May be cool to see if any of those are laying around
DeleteWith your drawing skills I feel that this is a fine project idea, or at least somewhere to get the creative juices flowing. Why are you transforming into a fish though? How has your transformation elicited this change? Also be ready to explain the meaning behind each different drawing since it is relating back to you
