My criteria was rather simple. I determined if I enjoyed it or not and why. Does the project meet the criteria in my opinion? Is it interesting? Does it look like effort was included? Does the project present itself in a way that is appealing to the audience? Is the idea clear? etc.
i generally look at the overall composition/structure of the piece and decide whether it is cohesive or not. then I look at the actual content and judge how it interacts with the overall composition and whether or not it is successful.
Criteria: - the amount of time and effort it looks like went into the project and how it was presented - cleanliness (clean lines, obvious idea, consistent idea, good color combos) - personal appeal (what calls to me and made me comforted and made me enjoy it and what made me cringe) - does it look like they tried too hard to be “artsy” - does it have an appeal to other people? - Is it just well done (techniques and tools used correctly)
My Criteria for Evaluating Digital Art: - First I evaluated the piece visually and determined if it was visually appealing to me - If the work has many errors in completion/though not to be confused with intentional errors - I look at how much work was put into the piece - Overall I put these 3 together to give my judgement of the piece
i had two general sort of criteria categories:
ReplyDelete1. technique/craftsmanship/execution
2. idealogical content/effectiveness at conveying ideas

ReplyDelete1. Work needs to be clean and well put together
ReplyDelete2. It should have a general theme to it, as in organized and not messy

When judging digital art I look for
ReplyDelete- Technicalities ( how well the project is made )
- Likability
- over all composure and how it works together
